As the Director of Assisted Living for Generations it is difficult at times to trust the information provided to you by an outsider. Many times the perspective of an outsider is limited in scope and does not take into context the complexity of the issues one is attempting to improve. In general a consultants perspective is interesting but not detailed enough to give direction as to how to go about making an impact. I found Lisa to be outside this normal definition of a consultant. Lisa's extensive experience and approach to working with issues and staff allow her to see much deeper into the root of an issue rather than the surface problem. Lisa is an exceptional person and great consultant. Her intervention was detailed, thoughtful and very professional. But this was not what made Lisa good at what she does, it was rather her approach, her understanding of the human process and interaction that made her effective.
